Papa.

My Papa, Ronald Lafarr Page, was the best grandpa ever.

He was-

Amazing.
Thoughtful.
Loving.
Caring.
Serving.
Smart.
Funny.
Candy-loaded.
Priesthood Holder.
Husband.
Dad.
Grandpa.
Great grandpa.

He lived and loved the gospel, and taught us all until his last day of the importance of the gospel, and of his love for it. He lived the gospel with everything he did. Whenever there was something to be volunteered for, a neighbor to be helped, a room to be cleaned, anything, he was there first to do it. He loved his callings and did every part of them well. He loved doing family history, and I am so glad that he did it to find out about our family and bring them together again. Also doing family history for the church to find out other families and bringing them together. He is a man who lived and breathed the gospel, and I am so grateful for that.

He had the greatest love for family, and is one of the main reasons that brought our family so close together. He was always caring, and loving, and there for you if needed. Whether a concert, a game, a play, a recital, or even just for lunch.

Papa and Nana are the best grandparents that people could have. They are so caring and loving and happy. They love being with family and we love being with them. Papa was a great man, and we will keep him in our memories by living in his example. To one day, return to him be with him and our Heavenly Father again.

A missionary is a person who leaves their family for a short time, so that others can be with their families forever.

My Gracefulness is Amazing

Burn my finger on a toaster strudel.
Hit my head on just about everything.
Get faked punched, but in the act get accidentally real punched.
Burn my finger on a 425 degree cooking pan.
Get my toe run over in a door.
Slip getting out of the shower to change the song I was rocking out to.
Run into countless people in the grocery store.
Almost get hit by a car.
Belly flop twice doing aerials off the high dive.
And so much more, all this week....

Wow, good thing my middle name isn't grace, it's Eileen.... I lean and fall over is more like it....

Fish.

I got fish.
Michael bought them for me.
I accidentally flushed one down the toilet alive. RIP.
They are cute fish.
But they might die soon.
I don't know.
I don't speak fish.

Aw. Cute.

odd numbers

I don't like odd numbers. If you know me, you know this. They're creepy.

BUT I have 2 experiences with odd numbers. They don't creep me out this time.

3.

The number of days I spent in Sandy.
Doing what?...
oh just:
Walking in the rain with no shoes on
Getting 3 new fish named Fines Doubled, Michael, and Lawrence
Accidentally flush Lawrence (still alive) down the toilet. Rest in Peace.
Watching "the firecracker" on Extreme Home Makeover
Catching up with old friends
Freaking out about clothes
Going to the singles ward
Going to Michael Jacob Zajacs farewell (see below)
Going to the after party filled with friends, food and fun
Eating Thanksgiving in a ball for dinner at Laurens
Indulging in cheesecake made by Laurens lovely mother
Watching Princess Bride (a classic in my life)
Painting my nails multiple colors with Lauren
Watched Tangled
Went to Ikea and made it through the whole store in 10 minutes
SO. MUCH. FUN!
Laurens AMAZING work vest.

The crazy finger nails.

7.

My worst enemy. I very much dislike odd numbers, but 7 for some reason I just don't like that number at all the most.
June 7th is a day that I can say for once I am a little bit happy for. I still hate the number though. It is the day before Michael goes into the MTC.
He is one of my best friends.
His parents think we're dating. We're not. haha
7. The day before he is able and worthy and willing to serve on a mission in Richmond Virginia, and to serve the Lord.
7. The day before one of my best friends is taken away for a whole 2 years with no contact except wonderful letters.

Good Luck, Michael! I love you and will miss you.

Freak out.

Something that happens to me daily.
I can't avoid it.
I over-analyze.
I deep-think.
I process one too many times.
I let my mind run wild.
I need to stop...

RELAX.

That's what I need.

I love to color too.
I think that's partially why we're friends...

Story:

Taylor learned a song when he was three.
He applied it to my life. (as he does with just about everything) (:
Jerrica and I love the name. (:
Thank you, Taylor.

She did this.
Definitely made my week... times 10!

I wanted to pay her back by drawing one too... Well not draw... Rather, put together. (: It gets the point across.

I love to see the Temple

I do. I love it. Which is why this past trip down to Sandy has to have been my FAVORITE trip of all.

Up until the end of my freshman year of college I had only ever been to 4 temples. 4 great temples that is...

The Jordan River Temple

The Salt Lake Temple

The Portland Oregon Temple

and The Logan Temple!

All such great temples!

I wanted the experience of the temples down in Sandy, and around there, because I visited SO often and lived there when I was younger, yet hadn't been to that many temples.... until...

It started out Thursday night at 5:30. Lauren, Michael, Caleb, and I went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was so fun! I had never been there, and so we decided to go the night I came down to Sandy. It was so fun!

That night, Jerrica came up and stayed the night with me. We woke up bright and early at 6:30 AM and Lauren, Michael, Jerrica and I went to the Draper Temple! It was so fun to go to yet another temple that I had not yet been to!

After the Draper Temple we decided to head back over to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, because Jerrica had NEVER been to it. We headed back over and had a great experience at that temple!

After my second trip to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, we decided on a whim to make a Temple Tour out of our day. We then headed over to the beautiful Jordan River Temple. I hadn't been there in 6 years (since the first time I went to the temple when I turned 12) It was such a great experience!

After the lovely time at Jordan river we headed straight for Temple Square and did baptisms at the Salt Lake Temple. The changing room is one of my favorite parts of doing baptisms there. It is just so beautiful. Lauren, Jerr and I got caught in a trance on the wonderful door knobs.... (:

After the Salt Lake Temple (Temple #4 of the day, 5 for Michael, Lauren and I) we took a small lunch break and headed up to Layton to visit the Bountiful Temple, and the lovely Richie Thomas for his birthday. We saw  Pirates of the Carribean 4 and had a great time as a huge group at the beautiful Bountiful Temple! It was such a great experience to go there with almost all of my friends!

That was all on Friday! Saturday afternoon Kenzee, Jerr, Lauren, Michael and I headed down south to good ol' Provo and picked up Josh and went and visited the Provo Temple and waved hi to the amazing elders in the MTC. We thought we saw a friend of ours and stalked a group of them on the Volleyball court even though it wasn't him!

After dropping Josh off we went up to our last stop of our Temple Tour and visited Mount Timpanogos Temple! It was just about the same as Bountiful, but as Jerr states "It was made first"... We almost didn't make it through, but when the helper found out we were on our 7th temple and had limited time to make it through, they let us in last second and we completed our amazing, spiritually uplifting, friend bonding trip!

We tried to calculate all that we did and overall Michael did a million and ten (exaggeration) baptisms as the baptizer, and Lauren and I were baptized and confirmed for about 101 names. It was such a blessing to be able to go through and do that! I am so grateful for these guys and the great fun and memories that we created together this weekend!
